NDSD High School Closing
The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (DPI) has taken initiatives to close the high school at the North Dakota School for the Deaf. It began at a NDSD Future Services Plan transition team meeting in June 2010 and DPI has since taken a firm stand on its decision to close the high school despite the facts that they have no legitimate reasons to do so.
Below are two vlogs providing an overview of HB 1013 under which the transition team was established and charged with specific responsibilities and explaining how DPI came around to trying to close the high school at the school for the deaf.
