Welcome to the NDSD Society website! The website allows the organization communicate with NDSD alumni, former and current staff and teachers, parents of former and current students, legislators, North Dakota Government and all other people interested in the North Dakota School for the Deaf.
The mission of the NDSD Society is to protect and advance interests of the North Dakota School for the Deaf as an educational institution and to perpetrate and foster relationship and goodwill between the School and its alumni and Society members. In nutshell, the organization is responsible for all-school reunion every five years ending in zero and five, sharing important NDSD-related news and information, and advocating NDSD as an important educational choice for all deaf and hard of hearing children in North Dakota.
The State of North Dakota's current philosophy and vision for deaf education in the State of North Dakota is the greatest threat to the existence of the North Dakota School for the Deaf. NDSD Society is prepared to stave off any efforts to lessen NDSD's historic role in educating deaf and hard of hearing children, and your financial and voluntary support is essential to NDSD's future.
